Community Service

Part of being a good neighbor is providing services to our surrounding community.  Washington SDA Church's Community Services department meets the immediate needs of our local community through social services such as tutoring and mentoring programs, nursing home visitation, health screening education and assistance, inner city missions, personal household needs such as food and clothing, and disaster response.

As a worldwide church, Adventist Community Services founded the Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA) International which is a humanitarian agency operated by the Seventh-day Adventist Church for the purpose of providing individual and community development and disaster relief.

Have a food or clothing need? Check out our community pantry! We have canned goods and gently used clothes at no cost to you.

Want to Volunteer? We are always looking for volunteers to help with set up, registration, and food & clothing distribution.  Send us an email if interested in volunteering for our next Community Services event.
